Cerviron® ovules is a product with local therapeutic action, indicated in the therapy of atrophic, aerobic and traumatic vaginitis, as well as in the treatment of cervical lesions. It helps restore the natural vaginal pH balance and is effective in reducing vaginal bleedings.
Cerviron® has 7 active principles with beneficial effects for a targeted action in the treatment of acute and chronic vulvovaginitis of aerobic, atrophic, or mechanical aetiology, caused by changes in vaginal pH or by changes in the vaginal microbiota.
These properties are due to the cumulative effects of its active compounds. The low concentrations in which the active compounds are found avoid possible unwanted local effects, restoring the original vaginal ecosystem. The beneficial effects are based on the therapeutic action of 4 medicinal plants, as well as on the topical action of 3 other compounds (hexylresorcinol, collagen, and bismuth subgallate). The ovule melts in the vaginal mucosa forming a cream that ensures uniform dispersion of substances contained and acts as a protective barrier with astringent effect, favoring reepithelialization of damaged tissue and restoration of the initial colpoecosystem without affecting Döderlein bacilli in the vagina – it creates favorable conditions for their development.
An ovule is administered intravaginally, preferably in the evening, before bed or according to the medical prescription. The use of ovules begins on the first day after menstruation. The duration of administration is 10 days per month or according to the doctor’s instructions. Improvement may occur in the first month of treatment.
